ORGANIC VITICULTURE & ORGANIC WINE IN XANTHI , THRACE , GREECE

In recent decades, in the prefecture of Xanthi, with the area of Avdira being the dominant one, serious efforts are underway by winemakers who have managed to redefine the position of the region on the wine map of the country, producing excellent products.
Starting from the year 2013, we planted our first grapevine plants establishing our vineyard at our birth place, at the village Petinos of Xanthi , Greece.
This choice directly related to our origin from the region.
However, the differentiation of the area from the usual options of viticulture in the country (altitude – sea) is the challenge.

With a clear orientation in the cultivation of Greek varieties, Malagouzia and Vidiano are the main varieties in our vineyard, followed by Limnio, while Chardonnay and Syrah occupy a very small area.
Private experimental winemaking, with minimal interventions and non-existent technological equipment, were the evidence and support our decision to communicate our effort to the public.
Starting from the year 2021, our first attempt at professional winemaking was presented. The result of a long-term effort, scientific approach and exclusively personal involvement in all production stages.
Since then, consistently, we have placed our wines at the disposal of every wine lover.
