The list of authorised pesticides includes the formulations of pesticides for which a marketing authorisation has been granted by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, as well as the information appearing on their authorisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Catalogue shall take the form of an electronic database and shall be posted on the website of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsible for drawing up, updating and maintaining the electronic application of the Catalogue is: S<\/strong>dynastic E<\/strong>mortal A<\/strong>Version (EVS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preparations whose authorisation has expired or been withdrawn shall be entered in the list with the indication \u2018Withdrawn\u2019 and a reference to the relevant decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The professional user shall only obtain the formulations included in the Catalogue from retail outlets authorised for this purpose. The retail store records in a special sales form electronically for each professional user details of the transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preparations are selected on the basis of efficacy, mode of action, spectrum of action, selectivity for the cultivated plant, disease or animal enemy or weed, specific environmental objectives, combination with other plant protection products, applicability, expected residues in the agricultural product, residual duration, toxicological labelling, compatibility with the pest resistance management strategy, and possible effect on the next crop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priority is given to the use of formulations with selective action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The administration of preparations which are not included in the approved List or do not conform to those indicated on the label shall be prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone who uses pesticides without observing the information on their packaging or label shall be fined between three hundred (300) and thirty thousand (30,000) euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the authorised plant protection products used on the vine we can consult the relevant\u00a0pages<\/a>\u00a0the website of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food. On\u00a0pages<\/a>\u00a0these are searchable by criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
